You play as a nameless ronin (masterless samurai) who becomes the caretaker of a struggling katana forging shop known as Aobou's Sword Shop . The shop’s master, Naraya Aobou , is crippled by debt to the powerful and ruthless Tamuraya merchant family. To repay the debt and restore the shop’s glory, you must descend into the ever-changing, demon-infested dungeons of Mt. Tateyama to find rare materials, valuable treasure, and legendary swords.
