By analyzing key productions—from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to the Wizarding World and Universal’s theme park synergies—this paper argues that modern success hinges less on individual films and more on the creation of intertextual, transmedia "franchise ecosystems." The paper concludes by exploring the challenges of franchise fatigue and the emergence of auteur-driven alternatives.
