NPCs in v0.4a often have dialogue trees that change after you complete a small task. If an NPC seems important (like a shopkeeper or a barmaid), talk to them, check your quest log, and talk to them again.
For those who've already gained access, save game files are available from community sources. A 100% complete save file for v0.3b is available, featuring "thirteen saves with everything completed and unlocked".
