Unlike gothic romances, this version follows a team of vampire hunters led by Alaric. They capture a young woman named Esme, believing she is a vampire’s bride. Dracula, portrayed as a powerful ancient warlord, seeks a relic called the "Lightbringer" to rule the world. Alaric and Esme must stop him before he completes a ritual that will plunge the world into eternal darkness.
