To ensure the translation resonated with young readers, Un Tim didn't work alone. He completed a first draft of the translation and then held a review session with about 15 Cambodian children, some of whom had already seen the Harry Potter movies. These children read the draft and gave their feedback, helping to ensure that the magical but foreign concepts of wizards, Hogwarts, and sorcery were understandable and exciting to a Khmer audience.
