If you have obtained a key for a lab environment, follow these steps to activate it in your vSphere client: to your vCenter Server using the vSphere Client. Navigate to Administration > Licensing > Licenses . Click Add New Licenses and paste your key. Switch to the Assets tab and select vCenter Server Systems .
