The story begins with a seemingly minor incident: (Prithviraj Sukumaran), an ex-Army Havildar with deep political connections, is caught transporting alcohol through Attappadi, a prohibited zone. He is intercepted and detained by Ayyappan Nair (Biju Menon), an upright Sub-Inspector known for his calm yet firm demeanor. Ayyappanum Koshiyum Tamilyogi
