This disc contains the original 9-track album, plus an additional track for a total of 10 songs.

Before The Fool arrived, Warpaint—comprising Emily Kokal, Theresa Wayman, Jenny Lee Lindberg, and Stella Mozgawa—had already turned heads in the underground music scene with their 2008 self-released EP, Exquisite Corpse . The EP showcased a haunting, folk-tinged lament titled "Billie Holiday" that quickly became the band's calling card.

The first half of the repack features the standard tracks of The Fool , produced alongside Tom Biller. Tracks like and "Shadows" highlight the band’s signature use of moody basslines, swirling guitar delays, and highly literate, cyclical lyricism. Mozgawa’s intricate drumming provides a sharp, propulsive backbone that anchors what could otherwise dissolve into ambient drift. Meanwhile, the minimalist beauty of "Baby" offers an intimate contrast, interweaving subtle classic rock nods into a deeply emotional ballad. Part 2: The Exquisite Corpse Inclusion & Remixes

Perhaps the most enduring track from the deluxe set is On Genius, it is listed as the most popular song on The Fool (Deluxe) . The song’s repetitive, mantra-like bass line and the ethereal, layered vocals create a trance-like state that has influenced a generation of indie and shoegaze bands. Its inclusion in the repack—whether physical or digital—is often cited as the primary reason for purchasing the deluxe edition over the standard.
