Ok.ru, or Odnoklassniki, is a Russian social media and video-sharing platform. Launched in March 2006, the name translates to "Classmates," and it was initially designed to help people reconnect with old school friends. However, it has rapidly evolved into a full-fledged social networking empire.

Directed by Ivan Reitman (the legendary filmmaker behind Ghostbusters and Twins ), No Strings Attached was originally developed under the working title Fuckbuddies . Written by Elizabeth Meriwether—who would go on to create the hit comedy series New Girl later that same year—the script was highly praised for its sharp, cynical, yet ultimately sweet dialogue.
