Visibility and Agency: Analyzing the Evolution of Transgender Performance in Contemporary Adult Media
This paper examines the complex dynamics of femininity and aggression through the lens of trans angel performers Eva Maxim and Laura Fox, who have gained significant attention in the bare-knuckle fighting world. By analyzing their performances, public personas, and fan engagement, this research sheds light on the ways in which these athletes subvert and reify traditional notions of femininity. Through a critical feminist lens, this study argues that Eva Maxim and Laura Fox's participation in bare-knuckle fighting serves as a site of resistance against patriarchal norms, while also potentially reinforcing problematic beauty standards and body ideals. This research contributes to ongoing discussions around the intersections of gender, performance, and sport, highlighting the need for nuanced understandings of female aggression and athleticism. transangels eva maxim laura fox bareknuck top
